Cook (Part Time) Children's Center

Rend Lake College seeks a part-time COOK for the RLCF Children's Center.  Duties include developing monthly menus; creating shopping lists; purchasing food and kitchen supplies; preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks daily; assisting in ISBE food program reporting; following requirements and regulations as defined by IDPH and Food Sanitation; and other duties as assigned. // Part-time, nonenture-track position.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Illinois Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Good communication skills
  • Works well with others
  • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a DCFS background screening process
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • $12 per hour
