Dr. Rhodes is a Carbondale, IL native and United States Army Veteran returning to the area after an award winning, 19 year career as a special educator at the Gow School in South Wales, NY.  His published research focused on "Self-Perception as a Predictor of Academic Performance in Adolescents With Learning Disabilities" (2015).  Dr. Rhodes’s passions include: In Touch Ministries, the Buffalo Bills NFL Team, coaching & playing lacrosse, Shriners Hospitals, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., and Star Wars.
